Social Events

Following each Monday night session, members stay behind for a social get together, with supper provided on a roster system by 2 or 3 members each week.

The main social event each year is the Club's Xmas Party. This is usually held as a family fun day - this year's was at Jervoise Bay Sailing Club. It is always well attended by many members and their families, with a great selection of food, drinks and party games keeping everyone occupied! This year's Xmas Party will take place on Sunday, 27th November 2011. Venue and further details to be confirmed nearer to the time.

Other upcoming Social Events will be posted on this page as soon as details are available. In 2011, we will try and organise a few more successful get-togethers similar to the last couple of years which included:

• Progressive Dinner
• BBQ Breakfast
• Xmas in July
• Heartthrobs - regular excercise activities and fun events (triathlons, City to Surf, fun runs etc.)
          

On Sunday , 17th July 2011, Faye is organising an afternoon of "fun and games" for the family at Jervoise Bay Sailing Club. Further details are coming soon but we are all looking forward to those nice "jacket potatoes" to keep us warm in between the games!
